The farm has two accessible apartments that are available for rent
for overnight visits. These apartments allow families with a member
in a wheelchair or residents of a group home to spend a night or
weekend on the farm enjoying the animals, the paved trail, the farm
museum or just sitting in the countryside enjoying nature.

Children’s Centre
The Children's Centre is located beside the Visitor's Centre and is equipped with a Sensory Room.
Sensory Room
Sensory Room provides relaxation and leisure facilities to people of all ages with sensory, intellectual and physical disabilities. Wonderful and gentle combinations of music, light, gentle vibrations, tactile sensations and aromatherapy stimulate the primary senses. Our visitor can explore the room away from the pressures associated with direct care and therapy. Our Sensory Room has various lighting effects, tactile activities, mats and cushions for transferring. The room is now air conditioned thanks to the Oshawa West Lions Club.
Groups can use the Sensory room for sensory activity, play or relaxation. Book the Sensory room as an activity during the day visit to WindReach or just on its own

The Stables
The Stables were developed by paralympian rider Alexander (Sandy) J. Mitchell. The Stables were designed to be fully accessible and meet the needs of both elite equestrian competitors and serious pleasure riders with special needs. The Stables are currently a member centre of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (CanTRA), and the Ontario Therapeutic Riding Association (OnTRA). Lessons are taught by Equine Canada, CanTRA, or NAHRA (North American Hanidcapped Riding Association) certified instructors or individuals working towards their certification. The stables have a meeting room available for small groups.
