It's the classic 'build it and they will come' story. Alexander J. (Sandy) Mitchell's dream was to live on a farm that would be accessible to a limited number of special needs groups. He never dreamt that demand would grow to what it is today.  He has done everything possible to accommodate this growth moving his home offsite and gifting the property to WindReach Farm. WindReach Farm became a non profit organization in 1992 and has been doing everything they possibly can to continue accommodating this growth. However, the demand for access is going to continue to grow far into the future, hence the major challenge we have before us.

Certainly, this challenge has received a huge profile boost from friends like Don Harron, Erin Davis and Sandy Hawley. Now comes the big job! We need you help to ensure the long term sustainability of WindRech Farm, to guarantee to the thousands of children and adults with mental and/or physical disabilities that this special place they call home will always be available to them.
