When are you open?

Our regular office and programming hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm; however, our Therapeutic Riding Program runs some evenings and Saturday mornings.

Are you open to visitors on the weekend?

Throughout the year, we host several weekend open house events that are open to the public. Please select here to see a list of 2016 Open House dates.

 Can anyone come and ride your horses?

Our Therapeutic Riding Program is reserved for individuals with special needs as there are very limited riding opportunities for such riders in the community.

Can I bring my dog when I come to visit?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on WindReach Farm property as some of our visitors and farm animals may have adverse reactions to such animals.  We do, however, welcome service animals.

Who owns WindReach Farm?

WindReach Farm is not owned by any individual or corporation.  We are a not-for-profit organization that was founded by a wonderful man named Sandy Mitchell.  To learn more about our history, please select here.

How old do you have to be to volunteer?

The minimum age to volunteer is 14 years of age for our general Volunteer Program; however, we host several Community Work Days throughout the year where families, groups, and high school students are invited to participant.  For a list of 2017 Community Work Day dates, please select here.
