Frequently asked questions.

When are you open?

Our regular office and programming hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm; however, our Therapeutic Riding Program runs some evenings and Saturday mornings.

Are you open to visitors on the weekend?

We are only open to the general public on Special Event dates.  See here for a listing of events. To inquire about booking a private event at the Farm on a weekend, please contact us at 905.655.5827 x228 or info@windreachfarm.org.

Can anyone come and ride your horses?

Our Therapeutic Riding Program is reserved for individuals with special needs, as there are very limited riding opportunities for such riders in the community. We do not offer one-time rides during day visits.

Can I bring my dog when I come visit?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on WindReach Farm property, as some of our visitors and farm animals may have adverse reactions to such animals.  We do, however, welcome service animals.

Who owns WindReach Farm?

WindReach Farm is not owned by any individual or corporation.  We are a not-for-profit organization that was founded by Sandy Mitchell.  To learn more about our history, please click here.
