Assistant Cleaner

Tasks and responsibilities

• Sweep/Mop floors;

• Dust and wipe walls, counters, window ledges and other surfaces;

• Wipe/disinfect tables, chairs, benches, counters, light switches, door handles;

• Vacuum carpets/mats;

• Cleaning of accommodations after a group’s departure;

• Assist with keeping areas that have a high volume of traffic clean and sanitized;

• Assist with routine cleaning and sanitizing in all buildings at farm and stables;

• Work alongside and assist full-time cleaner;

• Ability to work independently as well as with other staff;

• Strong communication skills;

• Assist with ensuring that the buildings are consistently clean, sanitized, and meet the needs of the various program staff, participants and visitors;

• Good time management skills.
