Veronica MacKenzie - August 2022
Started September 2019
Veronica started volunteering at WindReach Farm in September 2019. She volunteers partly because her mother in England was a volunteer with a charity organization for many years and Veronica saw the satisfaction it gave her mother and the many friends she made. Veronica also volunteers at her work in a hospital where she sees how valuable volunteers are.

Mostly Veronica volunteers at the Stables, and she also really enjoys helping out at special events. “I have been around horses almost all my life and the Stables seemed like a natural fit as I feel I can be useful and helpful there. I am also enthusiastic and energetic,” says Veronica.
Veronica finds it is a great feeling to be part of such a wonderful community of like-minded people. She has learned so much from everyone at WindReach, to be a part of something so special, to meet and interact with the wonderful students and other volunteers, and enjoy every minute of it. She remembers getting a big hug and a kiss on the cheek from a rider after a great lesson. Priceless!
Veronica donates her time as she has always wanted to serve her community in some way, and feels so lucky to have found a place like WindReach!

Thank you, Veronica, for all that you do at WindReach Farm.
