EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) allows participants that may not be able to ride, or those looking to achieve a variety of personal goals to work with our horses on the ground through a carefully curated curriculum of activities designed to help individuals achieve personal growth, strengthen relationships, and build life skills that extend well beyond the arena. Having grown up around horses, our EAL instructor has experienced firsthand the profound impact horses can have on people, inspiring confidence, encouraging self-reflection, and helping individuals grow. Through EAL, participants are provided with opportunities to develop essential life skills such as communication (both verbal and non-verbal), teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and more. Participants will be guided through the process while allowing the horses to be the true teachers—offering honest, non-judgmental feedback that helps individuals build confidence, resilience, and stronger connections.
Group and semi-private sessions are available. Lessons will be one hour. EAL sessions will be available on Monday and Friday evenings. Anyone interested in signing up, or who have questions about EAL, should contact stables.coordinator@windreachfarm.org.
